Sonic Hoshi: Supernova Eidolon
A downloadable game
A modification of Sonic Hoshi that aims to organically bring the formula of Pizza Tower/Antonblast to the base game. To get a good rank you must activate the "Supernova" phase as fast as you can while collecting rings for a bonus.
Beating all of the levels with an amazing or higher rank unlocks a cool reward.

It's taking a damn long time to get Amazing ranks on every act... On Spring Shore act 1 I got it first try, but for act 2 it just seems... oddly unfair? I've attempted it multiple times and can't get anything above Good or Okay. And no offense, but everyone following Hoshi has already played these levels an infinite amount of times, so that just makes replaying these levels just to get to Rainbow Reverie a lot more boring.
could you tell me your ring amount and your time on spring shore act 2? or maybe send me a video of your run on discord? i can definitely recalibrate the ranks. don't get the complaint about rainbow reverie though, you don't need to play through the levels again if you don't want to.
this act really isn't that difficult. i managed to get amazing with the worst possible RNG for the random ring monitor and i missed out on the 50 extra rings i could have gotten with the second big ring.
